Congratulations, you were able to click the very inviting ‘read more’ link thus signifying you carry enough intelligence to contribute to our blog.

It doesn’t take much. We’re not necessarily looking for journalist-types or for those pursuing journalism majors. We’ve just got a blog that may evolve into something more a bit down the road, but for right now, at this moment, we’re simply a Chicago-based company with a page that features daily posts on new music.

You can be crude, rude, proper, or formal. Write about music or don’t (but mostly do). It doesn’t really matter. If you’re interested in contributing on a regular basis and make an effort to pursue and uncover new/fresh bands, then we’re interested in you. There are loads of benefits (none of which include $$$, but hey…we’re a startup), so you should, like, totally shoot me an email.

Send over a few writing samples. Some pieces that definitely represent your style and voice (music related would be nice but not required), and a little bit about yourself. If we like what you’re writing, we’ll help you expand your writing portfolio and get you into some free shows while we’re at it.
