1. Do you guys match prices? (Back to Top)
VEOBA believes in offering great prices, but more importantly, high quality products, services, and experience. We know there's lots of great deals there and that you've got lots of choices. If you find something cheaper somewhere else, please feel free to forward your written (typed, emailed) quote to us at merch@veoba.com and we'll do our best to match it.
2. What is the turnaround time on a merchandise order? (Back to Top)
VEOBA’s turnaround time for merchandise orders will always vary based on our current workload ... but the average turnaround time is 7-10 business days.
3. Can I choose different sizes and colors in the same order? (Back to Top)
You sure can! Within the same print run you can choose any shirt size or color that you'd like, but please keep sizes and colors in dozens (so 12 large, 12 smalls, etc). There are no extra charges for mixing it up.
4. Do your prices include shipping? (Back to Top)
No. The prices listed on our website are that only of the items specified and do not include any applicable setup fees or shipping charges.
5. Why are there set up fees? (Back to Top)
To screen print we need to make one screen per color you are using. VEOBA needs to cover our costs, so we charge you for these screens on the INITIAL ORDER ONLY. Represses do not incur these screen costs since the screens are already made. We charge $30 per screen … so $30 per color.
6. Will a light color ink print well on a dark t-shirt? (Back to Top)
If you want a light color ink (example: light blue) on a dark t-shirt (example: black) we will need to lay down a WHITE BASE coat under that light blue to make sure it shows well. This WHITE BASE does count as a color, so it does have a screen charge on the initial order.
7. Do I have to pay full price if I print the same shirts later? (Back to Top)
No. All re-orders (with no changes to design) do not have those set up fees … so you will be paying the per unit (per shirt, or Hoodie, etc.) cost.
8. What is your minimum merchandise order? (Back to Top)
Our minimum order is 36 pieces for t-shirts and 48 for everything else. If you need something smaller than that amount, contact us and we will try and work with you to figure something out.
9. How can I get my t-shirts cheaper? Back to Top)
If you want to bring your costs down, here are your options:
- Choose inexpensive shirt options. If you want to bring pricing down, we can price cheaper shirts for you.
- Print more shirts. The more you print the price per shirt usually goes down but your over-all cost will not.
- Buy some Sharpies and plain t-shirts and have a fun evening of drawing on shirts.
Note: Please keep in mind that VEOBA does not make “cheap” merchandise. We have some different pricing options, but we only make high quality merchandise. We might not be the cheapest option out there – but you get what you pay for.
10. Will VEOBA print dirty words on my shirts? (Back to Top)
Sure. Given that our founder goes by Dick Veoba, let’s just say we are flexible on crude words and innuendo. However, we reserve the right to refuse service, but it’d have to get pretty ugly before we'd exercise that right.
11. Is there a difference between screen printed shirts and vinyl heat transfer t-shirts? (Back to Top)
Yes. Silk screened shirts are longer lasting in comparison to heat transfers. Vinyl transfer shirts disintegrate and wear away after a few months whereas screen printed shirts consist of ink printed directly into the fabric. They will fade and crack a little but keep up well for a few years depending on how carefully you take care of it.
12. How do I know that you're going to print the images where I want them printed? (Back to Top)
We will email you a PDF proof with approximate size and placement before submitting the final order to our printers.
13. How do I decide what size to print the design on my shirt? (Back to Top)
You should measure other shirts with similar designs or cut out a piece of paper to the size you think you want printed and hold it up to a shirt.
14. What shirt colors are available? (Back to Top)
White, Black, Heather Gray, Navy Blue, Royal Blue, Light Blue, Kelly Green, Yellow, Light Pink, Purple, Red, Orange, Brown, Natural.
15. What type of art files does VEOBA accept? (Back to Top)
Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator are perfect for t-shirt layouts. Leave your Illustrator files with no clipping masks and all text converted to outlines on a solid background … that would make us burst with flavors (very happy).
If you're submitting pixel based artwork in Photoshop, we require that your image be your desired print size at 300 dpi.
Delete any unused layers and keep separate print colors on separate layers. Flattened images are ok too. If you're sending over vector based artwork, be sure to set the image size to the size you'd like the print to be.
16. Do I need a different template for different sized items? (Back to Top)
No. Although we do allow you to mix and match sizes with your order, this is contingent on your design staying the same for each sized item. Bear in mind that your design will appear larger on smaller shirts … so keep this in mind when designing.
17. Can’t I just use the measurements from a t-shirt I own or a template from another site? (Back to Top)
No. While all t-shirts seem the same, each company has a slightly different printing process. Using a VEOBA template will ensure that your finished product comes out the way you want … which make us very happy.
18. Can I use an image from my website on my shirts? (Back to Top)
No. Web images are normally saved at 72 pixels per inch and VEOBA needs your art file at 300 pixels per inch.
19. What if I have some other questions that are not listed here? (Back to Top)
